About Gio Mio Studio
Gio Mio Studio is a Danish brand built on a lifelong love of dance – and a desire to dress dancers beautifully and functionally.
Behind the brand is Mette Georgio – former youth world champion in Latin, professional dancer in Vild med dans, a trained clothing designer with many years of experience in the fashion industry. She has danced most of her life, and her unique combination of dance experience and design skills forms the core of Gio Mio Studio.
The brand was originally created several years ago, but in 2025 it has reemerged with new visions and even bigger dreams: to unite fashion and movement, comfort and style – and create a unique universe around dance.
Our collections combine the latest trends from the catwalk with timeless classics. Quality is at the heart of everything we do – from material selection to fit and finish. Many of our styles have multiple functions and can be styled in different ways – giving you freedom in your expression and at the same time being a sustainable choice because you get more out of each piece of clothing.
We always design with care and a sustainable mindset: Our clothes are made to be worn. Over and over again.
Gio Mio Studio is not just dancewear. It is a platform for community, expression and inspiration. We want to make dancing girls shine – and feel strong, beautiful and confident.
You can find us at giomiostudio.com, and we are also present at selected tournaments and camps.

We Care
We care about People, Sustainability and our Planet
To ensure proper conditions for people, sustainable production, and care for our planet, our supplier is a member of Amfori BSCI.
Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a global organization working to improve social and environmental conditions in international supply chains. It is not a certification in the traditional sense, but rather a membership-based system where companies commit to a shared Code of Conduct and engage in continuous improvements in collaboration with their suppliers.
Amfori BSCI offers a platform and a set of tools that help companies to:
Identify and manage risks in their supply chains
Monitor and improve working conditions among suppliers
Ensure compliance with social and environmental standards
Promote responsible business practices globally
The organization bases its work on international guidelines from, among others, the United Nations, the ILO, and the OECD.
Members of Amfori BSCI commit to implementing and promoting the following 11 principles in their supply chains:
The right to freedom of association and collective bargaining
No discrimination
Fair remuneration
Decent working hours
Safe and healthy working conditions
No child labour
Special protection for young workers
No precarious employment
No bonded or forced labour
Protection of the environment
Ethical business behavior
These principles are supported by regular, independent audits and action plans for continuous improvement.
Amfori BSCI is built on three core values:
Continuous improvement: Members proactively work to enhance working conditions and social standards.
Collaboration: Responsible practices are promoted through partnerships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
Empowerment: Suppliers and producers are supported in taking responsibility and implementing sustainable solutions.
Benefits of membership include:
Increased transparency in the supply chain
Strengthened brand image and customer trust
Better risk management and compliance with international standards
Access to resources and tools for improving social and environmental conditions
Companies like ABENA, WHITEWEAR, and Gina Tricot have integrated Amfori BSCI into their business practices to ensure accountability and sustainability throughout their supply chains.
